Brussels Noted the High Quality of Moldovan Wines
On 4th of May the results of the 11th international contest “Concours Mondial de Bruxelles-2004” were published. This contest took place in the end of April in the capital city of Belgium.This year 1200 producers from 40 countries presented their wines. The competent jury, formed by 180 international experts in wine, tested more then 4000 samples and determined the winners in 7 categories. The results of this prestigious contest confirmed that Moldovan wines have something to offer for the spoilt European connoisseurs. Two silver medals were awarded for Chardonnay and Merlot of 2003 harvest produced by the experts of “Acorex Wine Holding” company. Upon the results of this contest a catalogue “1001 of the Best Wines” will be issued, in which two Moldavian wines will be included as well.
