The wines of “Acorex Wine Holding” awarded with Gran Menzione Diplomas at “Vinitaly 2007”

A prestigious international wine fair “Vinitaly 2007” took place in Verona, the home town of Romeo and Julia, from March 29 to April 02.

The fair features annually an international wine competition – a major event for all Italian winemakers and one of the first-rate global events in this category.

“Acorex Wine Holding” participated in Vinitaly competition for the first time in 2001. As of 2006, the collection of awards received by our wines at that prestigious international competition included 8 honorary diplomas, whereas their current number is 10.

In 2007 the strict jury awarded honorary diplomas to 2 of our wines:

Pinot Grigio 2005, Private Reserve; and

Sauvignon Blanc - Chardonnay 2005, Private Reserve.

Vinitaly International Fair rates among the Top Four major European wine fairs which set the wine fashion and styles as well as the global wine market trends. In 2007, 4227 samples from 31 countries were submitted for the participation in Vinitaly competition, and the total area of the exhibition stands was above 70.000 square meters. More than 144,000 professionals (winemakers, importers, oenologists, wine writers, media representatives) from all over the world visited Vinitaly this year during the 5 days of its operation.
