Chardonnay du Monde, Château des Ravatys, 2006
We are pleased to announce that our Albastrele Chardonnay 2004 received a Bronze Medal at the 13th annual Chardonnay du Monde competition which was held in March 2006 at Chateau des Ravatys, the wine estate of the Pasteur Institute at Saint-Lager in the Burgundy wine region of France.
“Acorex Wine Holding” has participated in this Competition since 2001 and has received a medal every year for our top quality Chardonnay. Wine makers from 36 countries presented a total of 936 samples of Chardonnay out of which only 30% received awards. 60 wines gained golden medals, 185 wines gained silver medals, and 63 wines received bronze medals.
It is interesting to note that this year, the Jury (consisting from 30 experts from various countries around the world) was unable to award any one wine with the Big Golden Medal because all of the samples were outstanding.
