Pinot Noir – the best red wine of Moldova in 2006
On February 18-19, 2006, “Expo-Vin Moldova” XV International Competition of wines and alcohol beverages took place. The winners were announced at the “Wine Ball” Festive Ceremony.The highest award – Big Golden Medal was presented to «Acorex Wine Holding» for their PINOT NOIR ACOREX RESERVE 2003.
ALIGOTE CORTEN 2005 gained another Golden Medal. The following wines gained Silver Medals:
CHARDONNAY ACOREX SELECT - 2005
CABERNET SAUVIGNON ACOREX RESERVE - 2003
MERLOT ACOREX RESERVE - 2003 Once again «Acorex Wine Holding» oenologists have proven their high levels of professionalism. Competition’s Statistics:
The Current Tasting Competition took place for the 15th time. Wine and alcohol beverages from 61 companies from Moldova, Russia, Ukraine, Slovakia, Romania, and Belorussia took part in the competition. Specialists from France, Austria, Slovakia, Ukraine, and Russia were invited as members of jury. From 295 wine samples only 30% gained awards:
